Columbia school board talks more about recording policy

No change yet, but the Columbia Public Schools board did talk about its policy on recording meetings on Monday night.

ABC 17 reports the board only went through the logistics of the policy.

Some parents are pushing to allow recordings of meetings with their kids’ teachers, including those with special needs that have individualized education plan. They say it helps them better understand how their children are doing. The district has pointed to privacy concerns, and claims the recordings could limit honest and productive talk.
