Columbia water bills could go up in 2022

Columbia residents may see an increase in their water bills, after the first of the year.

Columbia voters approved a three-percent water ballot issue in August 2018, and that money will fund capital projects for the next five years.

The Columbia City Council’s budget packet says the revenue increase may be brought to council in January, to ensure that a fund meets its debt coverage requirements
