Columbia woman appointed university curator

A Columbia woman is one of Governor Parson’s appointments to the University of Missouri board of curators.

Mizzou alumna Robin Wenneker is managing partner with a property management company, CPW Partnership. She was appointed to the state’s Coordinating Board for Higher Education last August.

Wenneker will need Missouri Senate approval before becoming a university curator.

More from The Associated Press:

Missouri’s Republican Gov. Mike Parson is giving a top university appointment to a business owner who donated to a pro-Parson political action committee. Parson on Wednesday named Greg Hoberock to the University of Missouri Board of Curators. Records show Hoberock in 2018 gave $25,000 to Uniting Missouri PAC. The PAC is backing Parson’s bid to keep his seat in the November election. PACs can work in support of candidates but cannot coordinate with them. Hoberock’s appointment is subject to confirmation by the state Senate.
