Columbia’s city council to decide Monday on Legacy Farms subdivision near Sinclair road

We’ll learn details Monday night about a proposal to build a 495-home subdivision near Sinclair road and Nifong in south Columbia.

The city council is scheduled to vote on the Legacy Farms proposal, which would also include three commercial lots near Sinclair and Crabapple. The council packet says the proposed development includes cottages, condos, homes and townhouses, in addition to some apartments.

A traffic study indicates the development would have a significant impact on at least four nearby intersections, including Southhampton and Forum.
