A popular south Columbia cardio cycling studio will close its doors in a few weeks.
Columbia’s CycleBar has announced it will be closing its doors on November 22, which is the night before Thanksgiving. CycleBar is a music-driven cardio cycling class that aims to deliver a low-impact workout.
Zimmer’s “Inside Columbia” magazine reports CycleBar’s last ride will be at 6:45 pm on Thanksgiving Eve. “Inside Columbia” quotes an e-mail sent by CycleBar officials as saying they’ve “made the incredibly difficult decision to close the studio.” Reporter Zola Heck quotes company officials as saying that they love this community with all of their hearts and are grateful to everyone.
CycleBar, which has been in business in Columbia for 11 months, is located in the Rock Bridge shopping center on East Nifong.
