A Jefferson City employer is adding some jobs.
Command Web, the plant that prints paperbacks for Scholastic, is expanding, says Missy Bonnot.
“They are starting already, hiring about 50 employees, and [also] brought in some new equipment [to] start a 50 million dollar project.”
The JC Chamber’s Bonnot says Command Web prints about 200 million books a year. They’re in the process of adding new presses and book-binding equipment, along with additional staff.
