Congressman Luetkemeyer on Democratic nomination race

The divisive Democratic Primary sure isn’t going unnoticed in the halls of the U-S Capitol. Mid-Missouri Congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer said the in-fighting has Democrats worried.

“I was talking to some of my Democratic colleagues who are not [Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez] fans or Bernie [Sanders] fans. They’re scared to death. They are absolutely petrified at what’s going on,” said Luetkemeyer.

Luetkemeyer said his colleagues across the aisle are afraid a Bernie Sanders’ nomination could cost them not only the Presidency, but seats in both the House and Senate as well.
