Construction of “Lakeside Ashland” development starts soon

Construction on “Lakeside Ashland” starts in a couple months. Ashland Mayor Richard Sullivan says it is a 37-acre, family-friendly project near Route H and Log Providence Road.

“That whole area along that [Columbia Regional Airport] exit is going to be developed over the next few years, no doubt, because of its location, commercial development, and it’s just really exciting that Ashland gets to benefit from this, and all of mid-Missouri.”

Sullivan says the owner of “Lakeside Ashland,” Nic Parks, plans on building an outdoor movie theater and amphitheater in the first phase of development.
