Convicted Jefferson City felon arrested near Fulton

A convicted felon from Jefferson City is facing more trouble in Callaway County.

Prosecutors on Tuesday charged Markus Davis with felony unlawful possession of a firearm, felony possession of a controlled substance, and more.

Deputies say he had an illegal gun and drugs on him during a traffic stop Monday afternoon on Highway 54 near Route F in Fulton.

Davis, 26, also had a felony warrant out of Cooper County.
