There’s more short-term rental talk on the Columbia city council agenda for Monday night’s meeting at city hall.
The council is looking at regulations on the rentals like Airbnb.
Monday night’s item asks for a delay on those regulations taking effect until rentals starting September 1. No vote on that is expected during this meeting, since it is the first reading of the measure.
The planning and zoning commission is holding a public hearing on Thursday about the short-term rental regulations. The city council could vote to approve the changes during its March 16 meeting.
