County commissioner Thompson to seek reelection

Boone County’s northern district commissioner will seek reelection again.

Janet Thompson announced Tuesday that she will enter the August 4^th primary to run for a third term in office. No word on whether or not someone will challenge her.

Thompson, a Democrat, has served on the commission since 2012. She says her goals include improving mental health care access and addressing declining county revenues.
