A Moberly woman charged with the gruesome killing of her mother’s dog will be arraigned Friday morning in Huntsville.
Randolph County prosecutors have charged 29-year-old Brianna Lingo with two felonies: animal abuse and stealing.
The Moberly Police Department’s probable cause statement indicates Lingo killed the terrier mix dog as a sacrifice. Lingo told police she strangled the dog, watched it die and then burned it in her mother’s firepit.
Lingo will be arraigned at 10:30 this morning before Judge James Cooksey.
