ABC 17 reports a federal appeals court dismissed Ernest Lee Johnson’s lawsuit. Johnson killed three people in a Columbia convenience store in 1994.
He claims scar tissue could cause painful seizures during lethal injection, making it cruel and unusual punishment. The appeals court rejected that argument.
