Boone County added 33 coronavirus cases on Tuesday. That’s above the rolling 14-day average. Active cases rose a little, after 28 people were released from isolation. Hospitalizations held steady at 24, and are well below capacity.
Cole County only reported one new case on Monday. Callaway added four new cases on Tuesday.
Cooper County reported its first two deaths from COVID-19. They both occurred on Sunday.
The state added 981 cases on Tuesday. Five more people have died from COVID-19 in Missouri, for a total of 1,312. The positivity rate on tests the last seven days rose to 11.16%.
