Boone County’s new cases rose slightly, from 16 on Wednesday to 25 on Thursday. Thirteen cases were released from isolation, so active cases rose again to 240. Boone County hospitalizations due to COVID-19 went up from 25 to 29, but stay well below capacity.
Cole County added 12 new cases Thursday, and reported seven recoveries. Callaway County added three new cases on Thursday, and reported five recoveries.
Missouri health officials reported 1,267 new cases on Thursday. There were two more confirmed deaths from COVID-19, for a total of 1,325. The seven-day positive test rate is at 11.8%, up slightly.
