Boone County reported 117 new cornavirus cases on Friday, one of the highest daily totals during the pandemic and slightly higher than Thursday’s 116. Dozens were released for isolation, but active cases jumped to 903.
Mizzou on Friday reported 69 more cases. There were 34 recoveries, bringing total cases up to 822 and active cases up to 551.
Callaway County on Friday reported 18 new cases, with 16 released from isolation. Active cases rose slightly, to 105.
Cole County reported 31 cases on Thursday, with 26 recoveries. Active cases rose to 120.
Missouri reported 1,562 new cases on Friday, and 17 more COVID-19 deaths. There have been 1,562 total deaths now. The seven-day positive test rate is up to 13%.
