CPD makes arrest in bank robbery in South Columbia

Columbia Police have a suspect in custody and after a suspected robbery at Commerce Bank on Sandman off of Nifong in South Columbia on Monday afternoon. 34-year-old, Roger Lee Ballinger of Springfield was arrested on Buttonwood Drive. Ballinger made statements to police which implicated himself in three other robberies in Columbia dating back to October of 2017.
