Columbia Police say their investigation continues into Monday morning’s shots fired incident at a south Columbia apartment complex.
CPD spokesman Christian Tabak tells 939 the Eagle that no injuries are reported, and there is no suspect information to share at this time.
Reporter Ben Fein from our news partner ABC-17 reports two bullet holes were left at the Lyfe apartments near Andy’s Frozen Custard. The complex is located on Buttonwood drive. Fein reports the incident happened at about 3 a.m. and that multiple CPD officers searched the area with flashlights.
The Lyfe’s website describes itself as the “top rated student housing property in Columbia on Google reviews.”
Anyone with information on the incident should call Columbia Crimestoppers at (573) 875-TIPS.
