Columbia police will try once again to find the body of a missing woman in a local river.
It has been a year now since Mengqi Ji went missing. Her husband, Joseph Elledge, is facing a first degree murder charge. He has pleaded not guilty.
Prosecutors claim Elledge killed his wife and dumped her body in the Lamine River near Highway 41 in Cooper County. CPD says the water level has dropped since the latest search. Crews will remove the rest of the levee built at one point to help find the missing woman.
