CPS approves new elementary school boundary plan

The Columbia Public Schools board approves more elementary school boundary changes.

The plan approved Monday night says more than 700 elementary students will switch schools over the next three years. Rock Bridge Elementary, Cedar Ridge Elementary and Midway Heights Elementary will likely see potential growth over that time as well.

The board also recognized Peter Stiepleman Monday during his last meeting as superintendent. The retiring Stiepleman will be replaced by Harold Yearwood on July 1.
