CPS board approves first phase of elementary boundary changes

The Columbia Public Schools Board of Education starts the process of changing its elementary boundaries.

ABC 17 reports the board on Monday night voted to move about 100 students from overcrowded Parkade Elementary to Alpha Hart Elementary, starting in the fall.

The board will vote in June on more boundary changes that could affect hundreds of K-5 students over the next couple years.
