The Columbia Public Schools board of education on Monday night was scheduled to get an update from its outside consultant on a re-districting plan.
CPS will be moving the boundary lines for which students go to Battle, Hickman and Rock Bridge high schools starting in 2020 when a new middle school opens.
The groundbreaking on Sinclair Road for that middle school is Thursday.
