The Columbia Public Schools board has narrowed its superintendent search down to three candidates.
The candidates are Dr. Erick Pruitt, currently the deputy chief of high schools for Chicago Public Schools; Dr. Chace Ramey, the current COO at the Iowa City Community School District; and Dr. Harold Yearwood, the current COO for the Manor Independent School District in Manor, Texas. All three will participate in a virtual forum on Thursday at 6:30 p.m., which will be live-streamed on the district’s website.
Current CPS superintendent Peter Stiepleman announced last year that he will retire in June.
