You could be voting on an $80-million bond issue for Columbia Public Schools (CPS) in April.
Columbia’s school board will hear a report about the no tax increase bond issue Monday evening, and CPS spokeswoman Michelle Baumstark tells 939 the Eagle that the board will vote on the issue in January.
The board’s packet says money from the bond issue would fund numerous projects, including a new elementary school in the district. Money would also be used to repair and replaces roofs, windows, heating and air conditioning units and parking lots.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 6:30.
