The Columbia Public School district has decided not to provide land next the Beulah Ralph Elementary School for a City of Columbia water tower. The city has been looking for land to build a new water tower in southwest Columbia and was discussing with the board a location next to the school off Thornbrook Parkway. Several residents expressed concern to the school board about safety issues at the school during construction of the water tower.
