Officials from fast-growing Columbia Public Schools (CPS) say total first day enrollment for the district this week was 18,430, an increase of 60 students from last year.
CPS is Missouri’s fourth-largest school district. CPS’ Michelle Baumstark notes we won’t get an official enrollment number until late September, as required by the state.
