Hickman high school’s new principal this fall is a familiar name at Columbia Public Schools (CPS).
Virginia Tate, who most recently served as Rock Bridge high school’s assistant principal, has more than 20 years of experience as an educator.
CPS superintendent Dr. Jeff Klein praises Tate’s leadership approach, saying it “comes from a place of humility, respect and as sincere appreciation for staff, students and families.”
What’s next: Ms. Tate begins as principal at Columbia Hickman this fall for the 2026-2027 school year.
