CPS trespassing suspect arrested again

Kelvin Joe has been arrested again.

Boone County authorities picked him up on Tuesday on a Columbia warrant on charges of trespassing and driving with a revoked license.

Joe was the man warned to stay away from schools after he was arrested for trespassing at Gentry and West middle schools in April. The warrant is tied to the incident at Gentry. Police said he was acting strangely toward adults and children. He picked up another driving while revoked arrest in Boone County in June, but was not charged.

He is currently on probation, with orders to not drive, and stay away from children and Columbia Public Schools buildings.

Joe, 54, is no longer in jail after the arrest at Mari’s Convenience Store on Prathersville Road in north Columbia.
