CPS will hand out free meals starting Monday

You may still see Columbia Public Schools buses in town, starting Monday.

The district is delivering grab-and-go meals to needy kids 2-to-18 years old. That breakfast and lunch delivery starts on Mar. 30, and will continue every weekday until further notice. Click here for the full grab-and-go meal route.

March 30 was supposed to be the first day back from spring break for CPS. Many students start remote learning on Monday.

  1. Why isn’t Hickman or Douglass on these lists?

  2. Jane, the grab-and-go locations are not tied to school buildings necessarily. They’re just trying to get to different parts of town where there may be needy kids. -BT
