Curbside pickup of recycling resumes in Columbia

Curbside pickup of recycling has resumed in Columbia. The city’s recycling facility was destroyed by a tornado on Easter Sunday. Everything returns to normal today on the curbside end. The city plans to pick up recycling like it had been. But on the other end it won’t be sorted. It’s going straight into the landfill until the city can make other arrangements. One small change, the city asks that you don’t include glass containers with your recycling. Glass containers should go with your garbage.
