The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a man is in serious condition after he crashed his motorcycle on Missouri 5 Thursday morning just before 4:00.
Frank Stogsdill, 56, was driving southbound when he failed to yield to emergency vehicles. His Harley Davidson motorcycle went off the right side of the road and hit a field entrance.
The bike overturned, throwing Stogsdill from it.
Troopers said he was not wearing a non-DOT approved helmet, which came off during the crash.
