Columbia police have confirmed a death investigation.
The body apparently was spotted on Monday morning behind Furniture Row and Bass Pro Shops off Highway 63 and Vandiver.
Police say the person who died is 42-year-old Ryan Berry of Kirksville. No info yet on what happened.
