Mizzou football coach Eliah Drinkwitz is heading to Rolla this morning, where the UM Board of Curators are currently meeting. Coach Drinkwitz, UM System President Dr. Mun Choi and others will brief reporters early this afternoon on what they call important developments regarding the Memorial Stadium improvement project.

Memorial Stadium was built in 1926.

The UM Board of Curators are meeting today in Rolla. Coach Drinkwitz, President Choi, interim athletic director Marcy Girton, board of curators chair Robin Wenneker and curator Bob Blitz are expected to provide an update during a press conference that will take place at about noon. Mizzou officials say the improvements and additions will include significant changes to the north end zone, stadium-wide improvements as well as repairs.

Mizzou received a $62-million donation to Mizzou Athletics from an anonymous donor in February. That money will fund major renovations to Memorial Stadium in Columbia and support the Tiger Fund program.
