You may actually see some signs of life at the old shoe factory next to the MSP prison.
Holly and Nathan Stitt just bought the 100 year old building. Stitt says they’re in the early planning stages.
Another developer expressed interest into turning the 87,000 square foot building into a ‘fun factory’ complete with apartments but that deal fell through.
While Stitt also co-owns the tornado-destroyed Avenue HQ building on Capitol Avenue, there’s no plan to move that operation into the shoe factory.
