Man dies in double shooting on Jacobs Place

UPDATE: Columbia police are now calling the double shooting that took place Friday morning on Jacobs Place near Broadway and Highway 63 an attempted homicide and self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Officers said when they entered the house they found a woman with a non-life threatening gunshot wound and a man with a self inflicted, life-threatening gunshot wound.

The man, now identified as  22-year-old Deshawn Graves later died at the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.

ORIGINAL STORY: A double shooting is reported in Columbia.

ABC 17 reports police found two gunshot victims on Friday morning on Jacobs Place near Broadway and Highway 63.

Both victims went to the hospital. No word yet on how they’re doing. No info on suspects yet.
