Downtown Columbia bar loses operating license over health order violations

A downtown Columbia honky tonk sounds like it is ready to battle at high noon with the local health department.

Officials suspended the operating permit for Nash Vegas on Friday night, saying the bar violated the Columbia coronavirus health order. They say there was standing bar service and not much social distancing.

Nash Vegas posted on Instagram early Saturday “The Boone Co Health Dept has officially pulled our operating permit. After six months of this nonsense, it is now time to take this the distance.”
