Driver badly hurt in south Columbia crash

A man has life-threatening injuries after a crash in south Columbia.

Police say the 33-year-old man drove his car into a traffic light pole at about 2:40 a.m. Friday at Providence and Nifong.

Investigators are looking into what caused the accident.
