Dueling versions of North Korea summit collapse

(AP) – The collapse of the U.S.-North Korea summit has left dueling versions of what went wrong in its wake.

President Donald Trump said he walked away because North Korean leader Kim Jong Un demanded the U.S. lift all sanctions.

The North Koreans quickly denied that during a rare nighttime news conference. Two senior members of the North’s delegation insisted Kim had asked only for partial sanctions relief in exchange for shutting down the North’s main nuclear complex.
