Dust from Sahara Desert to affect mid-Missouri

You will notice dry, dusty air starting Friday.

It’s blowing in from the Sahara Desert in Africa. That’s not common for North America.

Meteorologists say to expect reduced visibility and air quality this weekend, but some cool sunrises and sunsets too.
