You’ll notice changes soon as the Eatwell market on Providence road near downtown Columbia.
939 the Eagle’s Mike Murphy reports it will become a traditional Schnucks supermarket this summer. Murphy reports the St. Louis-based Schnucks chain is discontinuing its Eatwell line and will close its only other location in eastern Missouri’s Chesterfield. The Eatwell in Columbia replaced the Lucky’s Market at that location after Schnucks purchased it out of bankruptcy in 2020.
Schnucks’ three Columbia stores are on Forum Boulevard, in Battle Crossing on Clark lane and on South Providence. The Schnucks Express near South Providence is connected to Eatwell.
