Boone County firefighters say a Sturgeon man was killed in a Tuesday lawnmower crash.
Boone County Fire Protection District assistant chief Gale Blomenkamp tells 939 the Eagle that the elderly victim was mowing near a creek when the mower overturned. Blomenkamp says it was a zero turn lawn mower.
He says firefighters and EMS personnel treated the victim for about 30 minutes. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name hasn’t been released.
