A Columbia-based company that’s undergoing a $100-million expansion in Columbia has opened its brand-new $46-million industrial and upfitting center in mid-Missouri’s Moberly.

The state Department of Economic Development (DED) says EquipmentShare’s new facility will create 151 new jobs over the next four years. Governor Mike Parson praises the news, saying EquipmentShare’s rapid growth is further proof that Missouri has what it takes to support leading and high-tech employers.

DED says EquipmentShare’s 174,000 square foot Moberly facility will house industrial and technology operations. EquipmentShare is also expanding its headquarters near Columbia’s I-70 Lake of the Woods interchange. That expansion is expected to create 555 new jobs over the next five years.
