With thousands of people heading to Columbia Friday and Saturday for state high school cross country championships, state transportation officials are warning you to expect significant delays on westbound I-70 near Kingdom City.
Traffic has been reduced to one lane around the clock at the Auxvasse creek bridge, which is at mile marker 153.
The deteriorating bridge is being replaced under Missouri Governor Mike Parson’s $250-million bridge bonding program.
