A bomb threat proved to be a false alarm at Midway Truck Stop west of Columbia.
Boone County authorities say a passenger on an Interstate Bus found writing indicating a bomb on the bus at about 10 a.m. Saturday.
The driver pulled over at the truck stop and let the cops know. A bomb squad searched the bus and found nothing.
Investigators worked the scene for about two hours before things returned to normal.
