Someone died in that crash on Highway 54 in Jefferson City on Monday afternoon.
Police say a car tried to swerve around a slower car a little after 1 p.m., hit a concrete divider, and flipped several times. The driver was ejected, and died. Authorities are notifying next of kin before releasing that person’s name.
The crash closed westbound Highway 54 for about two hours on Monday.
