Fire does damage to a Jefferson City home.
Crews saw smoke coming from the roof and front door, and flames showing through a window, of a home on Jackson St. near E. Atchison at about 5 p.m. Tuesday. They got the fire under control in about 15 minutes.
No one was hurt. No word yet on what caused the fire. Investigators say there’s minor fire, smoke, and water damage in the home.
