Fire does major damage to a Jefferson City home.
Investigators say it started at about 4 a.m. Tuesday on Hess Way near Adams Street. It was not safe to go inside, so crews contained the fire on the outside.
No word yet on what caused the fire. No one was hurt. Four people who lived there will need to stay somewhere else.
