Fire does $201k in damage to southwest Columbia home

A Columbia house fire does $201,000 in damage.

The fire happened Saturday night on Blackford Court in the southwest part of town off Southhampton near Forum Boulevard.

Investigators say it started in a side yard because of improperly discarded ashes from a fire pit. No one was hurt.
