Fire does major damage to southwest Columbia home

Heavy fire does major damage to a southwest Columbia home.

The fire started at about 4 a.m. Sunday on Chamois Drive near Scott Blvd. Neighbors say no one was home.

It took about an hour for crews to get the fire under control. It is not clear yet how the fire started.
