A house catches fire in central Columbia.
Authorities say fire crews got to the house at around 12:20 a.m. Tuesday on West Worley near Hirth Avenue. They saw flames coming from the back of the house.
No injuries were reported from the fire. Investigators say it was caused by an electrical malfunction in the kitchen. It caused about $40,000 in damage.
